THE LEAF
Is falling to earth . . .
With no real conscious knowing or remembering
Of why she has come.
She has lived her life
According to the energy blueprint of a leaf,
And yet has no inkling of any other reason
FOR HER EXISTENCE.
While falling,
The sky above looks big and vast to her.
And the planet itself seems to highlight
Her own insignificance . . . but she
Can see that as her connection
TO A COMPLEX WHOLE.
And yet,
At the perfect moment, her fall ends.
And she lands, out of the blue, on the ground.
And in the same moment, a special little creature looks up
And wonders what is covering it in darkness?
And then the little creature
Hears a cat's low purr nearby
As it stalks its dinner.
THE LITTLE CREATURE
Is suddenly safe and hidden,
Protected from a moment it did not see coming.
THE LEAF appeared, you see,
At just the perfect time.
And yet neither
The leaf nor the creature . . .
KNEW THEY WERE CONNECTED.
But their meeting was not just a fantastic orchestration of fate.
IT WAS . . . DIVINE.
Their connection was unknown.
Their interaction not revealed in advance.
And the one may not even now realize the other's presence.
But through THE MAGIC and LIGHT
Of this soulful universe of light we live in,
They were BOTH at the right place, at the perfect time.
AND THAT CHANGED . . .
EVERYTHING!
And they may not ever even really know . . . what happened.
